Harley cuts out at high rpm

I then replaced the throttle position sensor. Took the bike for a quick test ride, and it seemed ok. Rode to work the next day (8 miles each way) with no problem. Took it out for a ride with the GF. Bike was running well. We rode about 30 or so miles. Will not budge out of 1st. Checked oil, clutch, and primary and all seems fine. I did notice the spines inside the inner clutch basket are almost worn completely smooth. I turned my attention to the transmission. I have removed the inspection covers; top and side. Now I'm at a point I don't know what I'm looking for or not seeing. After riding 15-20 miles around 75-85mph ,when I go to throttle down and pass 3 or 4 cars the bike pulls like god till I get around the cars and when I go to throttle down and it starts popping out of the exhaust.
